How to Arm Your Security System
1. Select the Arm Away icon, the system will beep once and display a keypad.
2. Enter a valid User Code. OR If Quick Arm has been enabled, select the “Quick Arm” icon. The system will beep two times and announce “Armed Away Exit Now. The exit delay screen will be displayed. If programmed the display will count down the time remaining in the exit delay in seconds.
3. If “Exit Warning” has been enabled, the system will continue to beep throughout the exit delay. Rapid beeps will sound for the final 10 seconds of the delay period. At the end of the exit delay the system will announce “Armed Away” and displays the “Armed Away” screen.
1. Select the Arm Stay icon, the system will beep once and display a keypad.
2. Enter a valid User Code OR If Quick Arm has been enabled, select the “Quick Arm” icon. The system will beep three times and announce “Armed Stay Exit Now”. The exit delay screen will be displayed. If programmed the display will count down the time remaining in the exit delay.
3. At the end of the exit delay the system will announce “Armed Stay” and display the “Armed Stay” screen.
How to Bypass a Zone
When bypassing zones:
- With the system in the disarmed state, select the “Zones” icon. The system displays the zones/Bypass screen.
- Select the zone(s) that you wish to bypass and then select “Bypass” OR if programmed, the “Bypass All Faulted” button allows you to bypass all faulted zones (excluding Panic, Fire or CO zones). The system displays a keypad.
- Enter a valid Code. The system returns to the Bypass screen and the zone(s) that are bypassed will be displayed.
- Select the ? icon to return to the home screen.
- Arm the system normally. See ARMING THE SYSTEM section for procedure.
How to Add a Security Code
- With the system in the disarmed state, select the “Tools” icon from the second page of the Home Screen. The system displays the Keypad screen.
- Enter your 4-digit Master User Code. The system displays the Master User programming screen.
- Select the “Users” icon. The system displays the Users screen.
- Select a User Name and then select “Edit” or “Delete”. If you are editing user information proceed to step 5. If you are deleting a user, proceed to step 8.
- If desired you can revise a User Name. Select the “Clear” key and then enter the desired text.
- Once you are finished, select “Done”. The system displays the Keypad screen. If your wish to change the assigned User Code, proceed to Step 7 otherwise proceed to Step 9.
- If desired, enter a new 4-digit code for the selected User followed by “Done”. The system returns to the Users screen.
- Select “Yes” or “No” when the confirmation screen is displayed then proceed to step 9.
- Select the ? icon to return to the Master User screen.
How to Delete a Security Code
- With the system in the disarmed state, select the “Tools” icon from the second page of the Home Screen. The system displays the Keypad screen.
- Enter your 4-digit Master User Code. The system displays the Master User programming screen.
- Select the “Users” icon. The system displays the Users screen.
- Select a User Name and then select “Edit” or “Delete”. If you are editing user information proceed to step 5. If you are deleting a user, proceed to step 8.
